Well well- a great moment for any research group is the successful performance of a PhD student in a viva. Four hours of hypothesising, defending and articulating, and Josie has come away with minor corrections. Brilliant work. Her thesis was entitled: "Developing metabolic engineering tools for enhanced synthesis of high-value products in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii"
