PhD opening in co-evolution and meta-omics of algal microbiomes.

Microbiome engineering is an exciting new field that is rapidly advancing due to new experimental and computational tools. This PhD is a collaboration between our group in Sheffield, and the Nagarajan lab at A*STAR Genome Institute in Singapore. The successful student will spend time in both countries and apply novel approaches to better understand how algal-bacterial consortia evolve and can be exploited within biotechnology. More info here
