Algae Tech Conference: Munich September 2018

Presenting our work on engineering microbial consortia with microalgae as a focal point of resource recovery.

The meeting was largely industry focussed, with emphasis on wastewater and CO2 utilisation on Day 1, followed by presentations on applications on Day 2 (dominated by feed/food and agricultural products).

Although the meeting was quite light on science, it was great to see how the algal biotechnology sector has advanced and diversified over the years.
